Theatre
(or is it Theater? The world may never know…)
I’m a theatre geek, who has helmed lots of plays, musicals, and new work in my 20+ years of directing professionally. Favorite productions include the world premiere of Steven Fechter’s THE COMMISSION (New York Fringe); I DO! I DO! (Berkshire Theatre Festival); PRELUDE TO A KISS (Boomerang Theatre); COCKFIGHTERS (Oberon Theatre); A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE and BAT BOY THE MUSICAL (Seacoast Rep); and PYGMALION and PROOF for Santa Monica Rep.
My assistant & associate directing highlights include working with Walter Bobbie on the Roundabout’s revival of THE TWENTIETH CENTURY, starring Alec Baldwin and Anne Heche, and CAROUSEL at Carnegie Hall, starring Hugh Jackman, Audra McDonald, and Blythe Danner.
In 2010, I co-founded Santa Monica Rep, where I’m currently the Resident Director. I also teach on-camera acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. And I’m a director at The Actors Studio, an SDCF Award winner, and a member of SDC.
